Winter Roses KAL | Week 5

FO, and Prize Info!

Welcome to the “final week” of the Winter Roses KAL! If you’ve been knitting along with us, thank you—if you’ve been knitting along with us, and sharing your progress on Ravelry and/or social media, double thank you! While this may be the last week of November, you have all the way until December 15th, 2021 to submit your contest entry to win one of three amazing prizes. Details on that are below!

I couldn’t be happier with my finished Winter Roses sweater, HiKoo® Simplinatural was truly meant to be worn close to the skin, it’s supremely cozy and soft! The kind of soft that almost feels like you’re not even wearing anything, which sounds counterproductive, but it’s the only way I can describe it.

Because there are contrasting yarns featured in this pattern, I chose to steam-block my sweater to avoid any chance of color transfer. If you have no way of steaming your sweater, I’d recommend simply wetting your project rather than soaking, before laying it out to dry.

The Simplinatural yarn will bloom and only get cozier with each and every wear.

On to the prize info! I mean, having a fabulous handknit sweater at the end of a KAL is the greatest prize, really, but if you’d like to enter to win EVEN MORE, be sure to submit your entry form, details below!

PRIZES

o One (1) First Prize winner will receive a set of addiClicks of their choice: skacel by addi Turbo®, Short Rocket, Standard Rocket, or Bamboo (valued at $180)

o Two (2) Runner-Up winners will win a stuffed skacel promo bag. Goodies inside will vary (valued at $100.00 each)

Thank you so much for knitting along, it's truly been a pleasure to connect with you through this project. And if you're just now finding this sweater after the KAL, Winter Roses will be forever free!

Links to the pattern can be found below.

Got any yarn left over from your sweater? The Winter Roses Hat is a free download and comes in a wide range of sizes (with detailed yarn information) so you can use up as much of your partial balls as possible, and make a matching hat!

November may be coming to an end, but these patterns will continue to be free downloads!

It's been such a pleasure to see all of the WIPs popping up on Ravelry and Instagram! If you're on Ravelry, check out the KAL Thread and say hello!

Did you know there's a Winter Roses notions bag? It's an exclusive bag only available at Makers’ Mercantile. Designed, printed, and sewn in their shop, so cool! They took a photo of the Winter Roses colorwork, kaleidoscope-ed it, and created this adorable bag.

Below is an affiliate link, and I do get a commission for every bag purchased.
