Welcome!
This asymmetrical shawl is knit sideways as one piece, with a repeating variation of stripes, texture, and garter stitch. Two complimentary or contrasting yarns are recommended to make this piece stand out.
The shaping is achieved with increases and decreases on opposing sides while a marker in the middle will prompt you to create additional shaping for a built-in point throughout the body of the piece. The marker must be removed to work the sl-k2tog-psso and replaced again. You may no longer need the marker once you can identify the center stitch. You will always have half the stitches plus one on the Right Side of the shawl, and half the stitches after the marker until the shaping adjustment. Always carry the non-working yarn up the side of the work every other row, unless indicated.
Instructions for special techniques are also included in the pattern and written with both metric and US terminology.
Deadline: January 4, 2025 (6 weeks). Please apply only if you can meet the deadline. Since some of you may need to order the yarn, I’ve padded the deadline to make room.

TESTING REQUIREMENTS
Because I sell my patterns on Ravelry and advertise on Instagram, I will need testers who are able to currently use Ravelry. Once the pattern has been published however, it will also be available on my website and you are always welcome to message me directly to set up a purchase.
• Set up a Ravelry project page and link it to the pattern using the secret tester code (which will be located on the Google Doc) in the pattern name field.
• Feedback on the clarity of the pattern.
• Feedback on sizing. Do the measurements for your size add up?
• Report yarn consumption (yardage/meters).
• Well-lit, clear photography of finished object added to Ravelry project page, on a model is lovely.
• Allow me permission to post and share your finished project pictures on social media/newsletter.
COMMUNICATION
• The test will run in a Ravelry thread, as well as Google Docs where you will have the ability to comment and suggest edits.
• Please communicate any problems, questions, or suggestions immediately in Google Docs (because I will be notified sooner than Ravelry).
COMPENSATION
After completing all testing requirements, you will receive the final version of the pattern either via email or as a gift to your Ravelry library.
